A Very Virtual Holiday Show
As we move through life during these uncertain times, it is important to know that, as a community of makers, we are in this together. Although we can’t feel, smell, taste, and experience the art in person, we can pull some of the complementary elements of Dane Handmade and bring a Very Virtual Holiday Show to the community and beyond this fall.
Our Maker Spotlights are one of the best pre-show opportunities to get an up-close-and-personal look at the intricacies and details of an artist’s work. They are exceptionally well received, they pique interest, and in the past, have been a means to pre-order your favorite items before the show. This holiday show will feature robust Maker Spotlights providing a virtual touch, taste, and smell of your pieces through focused photography and captivating, descriptive text.

Are you having an in person show this year?
We would love nothing more than to see everyone come together again, however, for the safety and well-being of our participating artists, shoppers, and community, we are unable to be together in person. This virtual shopping experience is our opportunity to make the best of the COVID situation and support local artists this holiday season through our Very Virtual Holiday Show.
I am an artist. How do I apply to the show?
The application process is very simple. Click on the link above and fill out the form. If you are accepted into the show, you will be contacted with further details.
How can I shop the Very Virtual Holiday Show?
We will create a Facebook event, be sure to “attend” the show. Within that event, we we will post a variety of makers featuring a virtual touch, taste, and smell of their work. The posts will contain links to those makers’ shops. You can easily order from their site, in some cases, custom order, and they will ship it directly to you. This virtual show allows us to feature talented makers near and far; an opportunity to shop artists you’ve maybe never seen before. The show runs November 16 – Nov. 30. If you missed an artist on social media, you can find them on our website.
