My name is Marissa Recker and I live and create in Madison, WI.

I create fluid art originals using primarily acrylic and alcohol inks. Each piece is presented in a hand built float frame. My work focuses on themes of fluidity and movement.

With my art, I seek to challenge the viewer to feel the same emotions that are familiar to me, so that we can celebrate our common human experience together.  Each piece is a personal exercise of letting go, and just as I move the paint freely onto the paper, I move my heart into it as well.
