Those Effing Stitches was truly born out of the horrors of 2020.

Between the pandemic, the never-ending racial injustice, attacks on human rights, and the election, I’ve had A LOT of feelings. Stitching those feelings onto fabric, while teaching myself to embroider, has been incredibly therapeutic for me and has given me something gratifying to focus on.

Many of my works include profanity and can be quite crass, but I think they summarize the themes of 2020 pretty well. I just hope others can relate and will find the humor in these hoops.
